This is one of the first versions of the song "Cruella De Vil" written by Mel Leven in 1958. The title of this version is "The Creation of Cruella De Vil". I set the song to play alongside screen captures from the movie 101 Dalmatians and from story board art included on the special features DVD.

I can see why they changed the song to the one that's in the film.

It's a nice song, but a don't like the way he says Cruella De Vil.

I feel like this would have bothered young children quite a bit compared to what was used in the movie.  The movie's song almost gleefully and self-mockingly talks about how terrible Cruella is. This...this straight up says she's a magically created, demonic woman brought about by black magic and even more amoral than her movie counterpart.

Good song! However, Rodger making up a theroy about how creulla was created by witches because she's so evil takes it too far! Glad the emphasis was cut down!
