  • i entered regsvr32 jscript.dll and it succeeded just like the video, and because you said the problem is fixed at that point i tried to play a video file in wmv. i wanted to make sure it worked before going through the rest of the steps which you said just keep this command entered after a restart. when i tried to play a wmv file however i still got the error. do i need to complete all the steps even if i haven't restarted? thanks.

  • @mcmx88 Well, Follow thru all of the video is what i would recommend and then restart. I can not Guarantee that this will fix everyone's problem because there are a few reasons for this error to occur.

Go thru the video, restart your computer and make sure the script runs before you open Windows Media Player.

Then give it a go and see if it then works.

If not just inbox me or comment below and we'll see if there is anything else you could try to fix it.
