A run-through of the SN76477 based noisemaker I just finished. Schematic based on the Saratronics SARA-002, with a few changes. Panel inspired by the Remco Sound FX machine (also SN76477 based) from the late 70s/early 80s.

  • hey man, great project!

where did you get the components for the project?

The list on SARATRONICS does not specify some things, how did you get around that?

    Thanks!

  • Most of the components came from either Mouser, Electronix Express, or Futurlec. The SN76477 and PCB adapter board came from BG Micro. I used a Futurlec 777 protoboard as the PCB - only using half of it, so there's room to add new features.

If you look at the schematic in the zip file at the Saratronics site, it should have all the component values listed. I just downloaded it and double-checked.
