My only critique of this trailer is the man's voice in the recording. Its too "Radio Announcer" and not enough Akeley.

I realize that the radio announcer voice helps create an air of anachronism, but I think the voice removes the suspension of disbelief.

Otherwise, a really great and creepy teaser to a movie that seems faithful to the source material. Congratulations.

Thanks for your comment. The "Radio Announcer" voice you're referring to is not supposed to be Akeley. It's someone else.

The movie should be done by then, but it's unlikely that it will be available for sale on DVD at that point. The new trailer should be online this week.

Guys, that is seriously all kinds of awesome. Beautiful noir-style lighting, fluid camera moves and one heck of a creepy atmosphere. Oh, and the cat's reaction is priceless. These handcrafted Lovecraft films of yours are gorgeous little works of art. Can't wait to see the full version!

I've now seen thsi film, and i can honestly say that I am disappointed - the footage shown in this trailer was amazing; which makes it a pity that none of it were inculed in the final movie. Sure, some of the scenes here made it, but remade in a lesser form. I also didn't like the liberties HPLHS have taken with the original script/story... overall, I would recommend people to see the movie, since it's not that bad, but don't expect to much - this trailer was better than the full length film.

Nice trailer, but I just didn't picture the Mi-go sounding like an old woman. To be truthful, I didn't really know what they would sound like, except something very alien.
