The third video in a series that I'm doing this summer showing the progress of my First Nations Style Three Sisters Garden. The permaculture garden is coming along nicely, some slug and cutworm damage but nothing serious. The transplanted corn, squash and pumpkin plants are growing very well and the bean and extra corn seed have germinated and are starting to grow.

  • Nice vid Good Luck.

  • @UPGardenr Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • It's coming right alone and nicely. I'm anxious to see how it looks in another couple of weeks. By then the mounds should start covering the weeds. Those are all large plants, except for the beans which should grow up on the corn. What fun!

    Regards, Gary

  • @garygardens So far so good. I just ordered one of those time lapse plant cams, target had them on sale for $55.98 I'm thinking I might set it up to do a time lapse of one of the 3 Sisters mounds, over a month or so could be interesting.

  • @dalecalder2003 Dale, a time lapse of the three sisters would be awesome!

    Gary

  • @garygardens I think I will do it after I fool around with the camera for a few days to see how it works, it's been shipped I should have it Monday.

  • @knyquol We are having a cold damp spell again but it is supposed to improve tomorrow. I haven't grown corn in years because the coons get it all and that is likely what will happen this year too.

  • Looks great! I don't have any tips or ideas my corn isn't doing very much this year not really sure why it's in a much sunnier spot than last year, Hope the nice weather holds out for you!

  • @lifeinthailand Thanks, the other gardens are doing very well so far, I hope to do a video soon. My next project is building the secure yard for the chickens, the material was delivered yesterday.

  • @JaxRL Thank you
