I'm not Canadian, nor are any of my relatives, but this song is simply BEAUTIFUL!
I don't know what the words are, but I like it. :3

If ever an American citizen were to believe that they were inferior to their Canadian cousins, I would recommend them come here, and see that they could not be any more mistaken.

Even as an American I think this is biased. There is absolutly no reference to The French-Canadians.

However I still find the tune to be catchy. :)

There are many NICE Quebecers.. To whoever called quebec separatist fools... HOWEVER, it does seem (if you're a moron and just follow the news/etc) that most of you do wish to leave (why?, so many negative factors compared to just staying)... But I agree, this song is MUCH more inspiring. I'm 25, and I even get choked up when I listen to this song. O' Canada is SO LAME! I love this song... Throws everything on the table... Genius song!!! I know... I'm personally a french-speaking quebecer but seriously, the maple leaf forever is just more "Canadian". Oh Canada is more of a synthetic pop ballad than an anthem.

It is a shame that this is not our national anthem. But to true Canadians, ones who are glad that Wolfe liberated Canada from those priest-ridden cock-lickers, it is the national anthem. Oh Canada is for the politically correct liberal idiots. The Maple Leaf Forever is for Canadians who had granfathers die at Vimy or in Normandy.
