To celebrate its 150th anniversary in July, Campbeltown Lifeboat held a gala day and raft race with a dance in the evening in the Victoria Hall. The Hebridean Isles ferry marked the start of each race and once again the lifeboat crew won over-all.
Rescue Helicopter 177 from HMS Gannet landed at Kilkerran Green and carried out an exercise with the all-weather lifeboat in the inner harbour.
