  • My beliefs don't make me either a bigot or hateful. I'm not full of hate. I don't hate homosexuals. But I'll admit I don't understand it one little bit.

  • MARRIAGE IS REGULATED ALREADY! Wow!

  • ok, i understand now you are just plain ignorant. you know not what you speak of...so it's a waste of time to reason with someone like you. have a good life you ignorant bigoted hateful ass.

  • if that is true, then i say regulate straight marrage too. seems one out of 2 of you get divorced. not a good record wouldn't you agree...with your thinking...50% of straight people's right to be married should be suspended.

  • If its not a choice, then why is it that every goodlooking girl is only 3 shots of Jack Daniels away from making out with any other goodlooking chick at a party? When they hit 18 or 19, suddenly they "discover" they're bi? I'm not a bigot, I'm just realistic.

  • RE civil rights, your civil rights are about freedom from the state, not about marriage. Marriage, to the state, is on par with driving, it's regulated by each individual State.

  • try, just try to understand NO ONE CHOOSES TO BE GAY no more than you choose to be straight. and no you did not choose to be straight. how can you debate when YOU don't have the facts and you go off in tangents that make no sense?

  • btw your ignorance is blinding here. no body wants to be gay and goes to be gay, we are born that way. why is it so hard for you to understand that and accept it? what prevents you from grasping that fact. why are using that excuse? does it make it easier for you to be a bigot if you think we choose to be gay? that has to be it.

  • you say you are a better debater than i, but you didn't comprehend what i said. no religion makes marriage legal; only the state can do that. therfore marriage is a CIVIL RIGHT. and, the state grants divorces, and except for catholics who pay a big fortune for annulments (there's that money thing again), does anyone go thru their chruch to absolve a marriage. it's a civil right that makes it legal, not a religious rite. keep religion out of it and let gays marry

  • And therefore, if you want a marriage, then find a religion that let's you. Being a member of a religion is a matter of choice, and so if you don't like what your religion says are the rules, then leave. But don't go telling me that my religion must do this or that. And the People don't want the govt to recognize gay marriage. That's it.
