iPad integration Mercedes AMG-G55

Sound FX just finished up an iPad integration into a Mercedes G55 AMG where the customer wanted to be able to hook up there iPad into a car mounted dock and connect it to one of two connections which would allow it to play either on the overhead DVD player or on the cars Double-DIN head unit. Also installed was Dyn Component Speakers, Dynamat, Kenwood Amplifiers, and more. This thing looks and sounds awesome! WOW!

Why would you want to route the video from the ipad to the dropdown monitor? It makes more sense to just view it on the ipad itself? Please don't tell me it's so you can still play on the ipad, because that wouldn't fly either. If you're going to play on the ipad, you can't be watching the overhead video.
