I'm running a fundraiser on my college campus for this orphanage and will be bringing the donations and will be volunteering my time in March.... Wish me luck! I can't wait to have the experiences you've all previously mentioned!

Look into the embracing orphans website. I think they set up trips.

I wrote this Home about a month ago because I would like to go down at my expense, of course, to volunteer for two weeks. No reply yet. I keep wondering if they really want volunteers or just tourists popping in for a few hours. I have not heard from them yet. It is nice for children to see all types of people visiting and helping them and not only tourists.

I went to Jamaica in January, and the boy at the very beginning looks so familiar!!! Thanks!

Do you remember a girl named Tanesha?

I was there on a mission trip in the spring of 2009 and we weren't allowed cameras inside. To see my little girl again was a blessing! This is awesome, my favorite place in the world!
Do you know the name of the girl at 1:51?

I saw one of my girls!!! I'm so happy :)

THanks so much for posting this! We are visiting next week when we go To Montego BAy!
I was there in February. Those babies mean so much to me.
Do you know any of their names? I spent a good about of time with the little girl at 0:51...and no one ever told me her name.

I'm afraid I do not know the name of that particular little girl. I remember both of my daughters were also very taken by her. I recommend a vist to anyone travelling to Jamaica. It is a moving but truly rewarding experience that will put many peoples own lives/problems into perspective !!
