So many of our brothers and sisters, all across the land
They have no food to eat at all, and they need a helping hand
When we fast from morning til the night, to fulfill Allah'scommand
We feel the hunger and thirst they feel, and it helps us to understand

all too fast, the moon goes past, our month of blessings now has gone
But well keep its spirit throughout the year, Everyday should be like Ramadan
Each day a blessing from Allah

So weve scanned the sky and weve sighted the moon
And we say Farewell to Ramadan
When we fast together, for Allah to help and strengthen our iman

wow im so happy to hear this song

as a young girl growing up in Guyana my mom bought me this cd and one day my sister took it to masjid and lost it. i used to love this song. over the years i have sung this song from my memories. searched every where, even tried ordering a copy of the cd online. now this bring back so many memories of when i would sight the moon during ramadan and me and my friends would sing this song.
