Riding the elevators at the Georgia-Pacific Tower. This building was designed by the renowned architectural firm, Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill LLP. Built in 1981, this building is very close to the Westin Peachtree Plaza, and also 191 Peachtree Tower. These elevators were originally built by either Otis or Westinghouse, but were modernized by Schindler a couple years ago. This building did suffer some broken windows during the Tornado, although they have all been replaced.

  • @liftdude On electronics panels it's for make the difference between the letter and the number

  • Schindler doesn't typically use X, EX, EZ, etc. for travel through express zones. They just skip to the next served floor (Westinghouse did this too). The company seems to have this fascination with making their elevators seem faster than they really are, partially due to the fact that people will feel like they're not spending so much time in the elevator.

  • Nice elevator, annoying bell lol

  • L to 37 WTF.

  • I think why modernized by Schindler: It's an original Schindler bell sound.

  • The elevator speed no more quite fast, but Mega Fast, didn't ya?
