This music is the second movement from a trio for oboe, viola, and bassoon. The music is completely contrapuntal, each of the three movements being essentially a fugue. The complete trio was performed by members of the Contemporary Music Forum, at the National Museum of the American Indian. This was Sunday, October 8, 2006. It was the world premiere of the work.
