As a matter of fact, many European countries like Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Austria allow their citizens to concealed carry a weapon with proper licensing of course.

@Cozmolyne Most normal people dont carry guns around so i dont think they will be able to use a gun to defend themselves if somebody tried to rob them.
Maybe you do in the united states but in most countries im pretty sure normal people dont carry guns with them when they leave the house.

It's also easier to defend yourself. Criminal can make weapons, banning gun will do nothing. Villagers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo can make their own guns, it's only a matter of time before criminals start doing the same.

@Cozmolyne Well i suspect that people that can get a gun got more courage to commit a crime than people without them.
Probably is much easier to rob people if you got a gun or else they could resist you and fight back.

Guns do not cause crime, people cause crime.
Japan has different demographics to America. They don't have gangs or thug life. Even if Japan had lax gun laws, the crime wouldn't be different because to people will still be the same.

I think Japan for example is the rich country with the least crime4 in the world.
Sorry but i think that its because its so easy to get guns that is a big reason why theres so much crime in America.

No wonder everyone in Europe views you Dutch people as smelly, drug addicted neanderthals. We don't have an "obsession" with firearms, we have a guaranteed right to them so we can fight our government if it becomes tyrannical.
Don't worry, your government will protect you from the harsh reality that your undeveloped brain can't handle. Us Americans will enjoy having freedom in the mean while.
