the intro is totally necessary, buckethead liked the intro to the original so much he felt the need to add to it. the intro to a rock song is important sometimes.

2:07 and onwards (the actual cover track) is pretty cool. Nonetheless, he gets a bit egregious with the scales, and the cover song gets lost again at 6:04; however, I understand that the egregious cacophonic solos are what Buckethead is all about.
This might be "good Buckethead," but, admittedly, I don't have the ear for it.

Why not cut a separate track of the opening solo and give it a different name?
People would know what they're about to listen to.
Just sayin'.... the opening solo is clearly not anything close to a cover of "20th Century Boy." The cover starts at 2:07.
Tacking the solo onto the cover insinuates "T-Rex Brought you here, now I'm going to trick you into listening to my music that is nothing like what brought you here unless Buckethead brought you here, in that case, stop the track at 2:07."

Well, he's managed to suck the life out of this tune!

Let's all calm down, and realize that I am the greatest guitar player of all time. No need for fighting against each other about whether Buckethead is good or not.

music = progressive noise made for the enjoyment of the person making it, performing it, and the ones listening to it. everything you hear is noise so when somebody says "this just noise" that doesn't mean a thing. some "noises" sound better to people than others.

Lol? Why would he 'stop playing just one time,' there wouldn't be a song.
Shut up and leave, thanks.
