Aufgehoben performing live at the Whitechapel Gallery - Music & Live Words

Friday 28th May, 2010

Aufgehoben's music is sonic architecture forming thunderous peaks of improvised sound including mic'd --up bricks, stones and even shopping carts. Their latest album, Khora, is a term from Plato, meaning a space in which all forms are held that is neither being nor non-being, a perfect description for their feral sound experiments characterised as a roar that fills every part of the soundscape.
