FAQ:
What are Marbles?
Marbles are some kind of points. You can earn Marbles by flying common fighters or ground attack planes and these marbles are saved to your name. When you have earned enough Marbles, you can fly a very strong fighter or ground attack plane. Such a very strong plane requires a minimum amount of marbles and after takeoff, a specific amount of Marbles are removed from your account every minute. When the Marbles reaches 0 inflight, nothing will happen to you and your plane.
How can I check my Marbles?
Type "! help" and you will get all commands. The most important are "! balance" and "! price", showing your amount of Marbles and the planes removing or adding Marbles.
What kind of players are flying there?
Most of our players are russian and german squadrons.
What is the skill level, where do fights take place?
This is not ADW-Server. We dont want to see I-16 flying at 7000m because it´s unrealistic. Most maps refer to the eastern front where fights took place below 3000m, so they do on Queensland/by.sturmovik.de. The skill level is from bottom to top.
What is the difference between Queensland and by.sturmovik.de?
Actually there is no difference, but in the hyperlobby, the server is listed as by.sturmovik.de. Before total breakdown, by.sturmovik.de was named "Queensland II", but now, a few weeks till Cliffs of Dover, the name "Queensland" will refer to a CoD server.
Is there a death kick?
Yes. If you die or being captured, you have to wait 10 seconds for every player on your side, but never more than 90 seconds at all.
What happens if I use a plane I can´t afford or a banned loadout?
You will be kicked.
What are the rules?
Everything is allowed except shooting at parachutes. This is game, not war. Please be kind with your opponents and use historical skins.
Do the stats work now?
Yes, they do. From time to time they will record some data trash because FBDj-statistics were not made for DCG and our unique servertool. Please keep that in mind when you find some odd data in your stats.
Queensland/by.sturmovik.de is an Il-2 Game Server that started working with DCG in early 2009 but had a total breakdown in late 2010, all data was lost. DCG (Dynamic campaign generator) offers dozens of tactical options, so you can change the frontline by destroying tanks, slow down the enemy tanks by destroying fuel depots and minimize the enemy reinforcements by destroying supply convois.
DCG-Campaigns run for about 1-2 weeks, then they are won by players hand or the server will decide.
Queensland/by.sturmovik.de-Server offers the following features.
- FBDj-Statistics
- Full real options (speedbar is on)
- Unique server tool ("Sturmonanny")
- Radar (on some maps)
- Moving ground targets (they stop when they reach their waypoint)
- Reconaissance map
- DCG
- Skindownload is ON! (Squadrons welcome!)
The unique server tool offers new possibilities in aircraft limitation. On common servers, you find people flying only the strongest planes even though these planes might have been very rare in reality. Our server tool allows us to make a price list and to let the players earn points. Most of the planes will earn points, a few strong planes will cost points.
If the player want to fly a strong fighter plane, he has to fly a ground attack plane or a more common fighter first.
You have never seen a MC.202 in Africa 1942 in this game? On Queensland you will.
Actually, the server is still work in progress, but it runs stable and filled daily. Please be patient with the statistics, they were developed for FBDj-gameplay and not DCG, so our developers are still working on it.
You don´t need a registration! Just join, choose your plane, earn points and have fun. The server saves your points to your name.

It's great to know Queensland II is back online! There are far too few DCG servers... they are by far my favourites! I found there was a little too much choice when I joined today for 5 minutes, but we'll see how that works out as I play a bit more :)
