the first time franklin says "the turkey" adams reacts instantaneously... almost-- to quick. hahaha but its still really good guys, i wish i was able to be in this. and the guy who plays franklin did really well. What a shame.

This is my all time favorite musical, especially since I love everything colonial and history in general. These actors do a wonderful job with this song. The set looks pretty good. Whoever you all may be, Thank You for performing this play. Today's politicians could learn something about genuine dedication, morality and just causes from the story of the Declaration of Independence. THANKS FOR POSTING!

Thanks for the nice comments, it's one of my favorites too. This was the second production of 1776 I was involved in. It doesn't seem like that long ago that we lost Ray (Franklin) even though it's been three years now. He taught drama in Redwood City CA for 35 years. There was an overflow crowd at his memorial. The HS dedicated the stage there to him an rightly so.

Thanks! Community theater production by Saratoga Drama Group (Saratoga, CA) in January 2006. I posted it here because we lost Ray Doherty (Ben Franklin) a few months ago to cancer.
