Determine cue ball tip location using the diamonds to measure your kick shots. I'll show you how to determine how much english you will need and why. This system works when your cue ball and object ball are on the same line on the tabel. When the cue ball is not on the same lline the tip location will have to be adjusted. See part 2 coming soon.

  • Thanks for the reply to my comment. I'm sorry but I didn't make myself clear. I understand English on the cue ball, but I'm not sure about half-tip, versus full tip placements. (The contact point on the cue ball between the tip if the stick and the cue ball).

  • @jtubesalas Locating half and full tip locations on the cue ball can be difficult and will require some practice. I have included a link in the next reply that will show you a picture of a cue ball with tip locations. I hope this helps :)

  • @jtubesales YouTube will not allow me to include a link in the comment box. If you forward me you email address I will email you a picture of the training ball for your reference. This will visually help you see the tip locations on the cue ball. You can also email me at heath @ manning cues.com

    Shoot well, Manning :)

  • I'm not sure where is the start point to consider when RIght or Left English is going to take affect. Will you point that out on your video please?

  • @jtubesalas The majority of the spin will take effect when the cue ball contacts the end rail using right or left English. When you measure the shot using the diamonds you can determine how much spin to use and where your going to contact the end rail. when using spin you will have to allow for a little deflection when you contact the cue ball with the cue. Remember to use a regular stroke and allow the English to control the shot. I hope this answers your question. Shoot well, Manning :)

  • @TheJoeWin I apologize if you think i'm upset because I'm not. I just didn't understand why you made mention of the editing as your first comment. I do take pride in my videos and put allot of time and effort into them. I'm very passionate about billiards. Thank you for your comment and I look forward to more.

  • @manningcues i wasn't trying to be negative in any way, but it's your opinion. this is to inform that every table is different. sorry i wasn't on any clearer than i wrote. i haven't pressed thumbs down if that helps you in having a good day.

  • @TheJoeWin Cushions do impact the game and their condition from table to table will always be different. These videos are to assist my viewers with real factual knowledge on the sport. The information is correct and only here to help improve game play. I'm not disagreeing with your comment but the way you write is not helpful to others. Please tell me why the you feel the cut in the video is worth discussing? Making videos take time and effort and I enjoy it. You are the first to be negative.
