@Pwells1 You're ignorant about this, Pwells. There is a vast difference between digital and analog rolling shutter. Plus there's a massive difference between digital capture algorithims.

@RafalMachelskiMoVeR Yes, the rolling shutter artifacts will still exist, but you will never notice them.

This guy has a render intensive but decent fix for this -youtube.com/watch?v=bODpeh0Pm

What shutter speeds did you shoot at?

@Pwells1 i don't remember, sorry. but this is deos't meaningful. rolling shutter does not depend on shutter speed.
RafalMachelskiMoVeR 1 year ago
@RafalMachelskiMoVeR Actually, Rafal, it actually TOTALLY DOES depend on shutter speed. If you use the correct 2x ratio of shutter speed to fps (1/48sec for 24p, etc) then the cinema motion blur you get, along with you correctly moving your camera, will result in you NEVER seeing this rolling shutter nonsense.
Oh, and the RED, the Phantom, and every single 35mm and 16mm camera has a rolling shutter.

@Pwells1 yes, basically you have right, but on canon if i set 1/30 or 1/2000 sec i have the same rolling shutter effect (skew pictures), of course with different motion blur.

Does rolling shutter only affect videos, or photos too?
