Twenty five years after five journalists, two English, two Australians and a New Zealander were killed while witnessing a covert Indonesian invasion of East Timor, the widow of the reporter for Australian Channel 7 finally finds out the truth. • @sirsmokalotii that incident was regrettable and idiotic on the New South Wales Police's part, the Federal Government takes this seriously however its not a political matter its a police procedural one, even the Federal Attorney-General cannot interfere with what the AFP is doing however we do know that if we lean on Indonesia enough they may just cooperate, we cannot send our police officers uninvited to Indonesia to arrest those we feel are responsible, thats an act of war

  • @irishgodfatherchris its not that i dont believe you...but this case doesnt need more investigation..this case need action at this point...at least you can agree with me on that.

  • @irishgodfatherchris..yes i heard you.. how bout this ..if there is an ongoing investigation.. gimme your arguments why would Australian government pursue this how far would they go?..and there is a case for you to think about ..29th may 2007 Sutiyoso incident in sydney...i believe you knew bout it. and fyi..i concur the crime did happen...i never denied it or defended those who did it...my point of view was political and realistic..

  • @sirsmokalotii I'll say it again murder investigations take a long time and the AFP has all the time in the world

  • Respond to this video... and then there will be a regime change..here..and there too...everything going to reset again.

  • this why i love debating you...i think you are an idealist..of course 12 month is nothing..compare to 20 years old case, 5 government regimes come and go...gatot might laugh to his grave soon...all the time in the world AFP can investigates as long as they want really......wake up man..no body investigate nothing...AFP and the rest of the world know evidently who kills them...AFP is waiting for political closing..from both side. your government not even pursuing it...even there was a confession

  • @sirsmokalotii murder investigations take a long time, 12 months is nothing compared to some of our investigations, the gangland murders spring to mind or the 1998 Silk-Miller Police murders (they were the first Victorian Police personnel killed on duty since 1990) it took a long time for these investigations to close so be on the lookout because the AFP has all the time in the world.

  • been a year..nothing happen ..dude war crimes justice only happen if there is a superpower enforced it or war winner side enforced it on the looser side. idealistic doesnt really apply. what can australia do? even there is a clear cofession bout the murder...not much. its politic...when its come to politics...a lot of things have to be considered....not just the victims. some times it does considered for greater...i wouldnt say good...maybe the word is priorities

  • @rendra191 menurut gw sih indo yang terlalu pengecut untuk minta maaf

  • @sirsmokalotii no political will hmm lets ask the AFP who've lanuched an investigation
