I love David Gates! I saw his concert in the early 80's. He must be that sensitive and loving to write these lyrics and feel it. You can see the emotion on his face when he sings.
I just wish he was younger now . . God Bless Him...

One of the coolest things that happened to me in Nashville was getting to meet David. He was probably here working on this album when I met him at the #1 party for John Michael Montgomery's "Be My Baby Tonight". An incredible talent, with a sound that is unmistakably his own.

I fell in love with a girl when I was 17, and at that time she didn't realise I was in love with her and we never got together. I'm now 41 and recently met her again.
