  • ルール守って><!!!

    襟に煙草入れるって論外やぞw

    後が残ったらお仕事できやしまへんわ!

  • the maikos appreciate what those old men are doing. As stated some tourists have no manner (in terms of traditional japanese manner) and act like Geishas are like Micky mouse from Disneyland...Those old men probably arent thinking of themselves as self important but rather trying to protect the japanese tradition...I personally went to kyoto and talked with some residence. I had the impression they respect Maikos and their tradition/manner.

  • at least ask permission from the maiko to get your picture taken with her! my god, have some respect... she is on her way to work for heavens sake!!!

  • @chinpokomon661 actually in a lot of biography of geiko it mentions incedents of these sorts, including the tabacco thing which makes me think that this man is saying something that has not happened in a long while. It is just that now there is even more attention to maiko and by tourists. Of course many tourists are disgustingly rude, but it is also easy to single out foriegn tourists, when Japanese tourists and even jimoto japanese are doing disturbing things of equal proportion from old days.

  • @asarityannrabu タバコのあれはないでしょ。とっても信じられない行為だヮ!

  • @pinksalamanders I was surprised when I heard it too! Very unique.

  • THANK GOSH FOR MAIKO PARTOL

  • @ewoodham Maikos are not celebrities. They have their own works at Ochaya that's why they're in hurry when they walk. But a lot of foreigners misunderstand their work and the existence of Maiko or Geiko. The Maiko said that some of them throw a cigarette into Maiko's neck and it was really scared her. Those men are not just civilians, but they are owners of traditional Ochaya where Maiko works at.

  • I completely agree with what those men are doing. Last time I was there, I simply couldn't believe how rude, disrespectful and just plain stupid most tourists were. Some were running after them, shoving their camera in the maiko's face. I think next I'll actually do the same with the tourists, see how they like it.
