That kid needed his ass worn out. And take away another privilege or another item he enjoys from his room each time you spank him until he learns to behave. You slap me now I spank your ass and take your TV and video game. Your defiant now I spank your you ass and take away your book shelf and reading enjoyment. My mom only hit me like a few times in my life and it wasnt even hard or anything. But every time she did i lost a great deal of respect for her. Result was pretty much competition over who was boss in the house when dad was gone. As a parent you have to stand above your child. My dad never touched me with a finger and i always did what i was told by him because i respected him. Seed love get love, seed hate get hate. It's really simple and this guy is even though he's young very right.

when i was a kid my parents did hit me , now im 20 years old and ik know very good they did it for a good reason , im a good person right now i respact people en treat them right , and in the end i love my parents very much

Beating your kids is natural, every species does it. The only thing that matters is WHY and how you beat them. (Being a drunkard moron is not acceptable, so are bad grades)
And really, if you're not a failure of a parent, you probably won't have to beat them many times. (let's say less than 10)
Also just beating is not enough, telling them why they got beaten (talking about slaps here, not crushing their skulls with fists) is a must, otherwise they won't know why it happened.
