I think since these people are so good at chess, they should have a tournament where the set up of the board is modified so there aren't any analyzed moves, and we can truly understand the greatness of the players.

i have the same question... can't figure it out... someone help?

@darksideofevil13 Also does one only castle when there kings in danger or are there other instances when it would be ideal?

I'm a novice at chess can someone tell me why moving the bishop to C5 is such a powerful move?

At 20:34, why not ...Rd6 instead of ...Bb7? It seems like Rd6 is the better move so that black doesn't lose the bishop and at the same time protects his knight as well as the pawn on a6.

Does anyone else agree that Topolov's development looked weak at the beginning of the game? It looked like he was at a disadvantage very early on...

@Teritus911 3-3 lose

14:50 Rd6?
Wow, took an hour to make a move?

Topalov seals his fate at 20:33. Rd6 would have saved him, Bb7 loses the game. Ironically, Matthew 20:33 in the Bible is a plea for sight from blind people - but Topalov made his move before 20:34 when Jesus heals their eyes. Pretty unlucky tbh, that God is well harsh...
