  • @neberboi Key word is unauthorized reproduction (making a movie and then putting a youtube video in it). Professional animators often license the videos, but maybe the professor couldn't be bothered to going through the administration. Scientific visualization movies are a new phenomenon.

  • @ThePostFuturist yeah i noticed that he's doing it intentionally. but really? they can sue berkeley for showing a youtube video for a web lecture on youtube? it's for educational purposes.

  • @neberboi That's because the school doesn't have a license to - if it was made for Berkeley, it'd be a different story.
