Jack Bruce admired JS Bach's bass lines, and this is a prime example of his influence. Gorgeous!

That is, of course, Jack Bruce on ALL the vocals! Three at least, but perhaps more? Nice to see that a least a few people respect the fact that Bruce was the anchor that allowed Clapton (whom I respect as a talent) to fly and eventually achieve the status of "Icon".

This is such a sad song, but thats why its so great. I've had this feeling before. Losing a lover and wanting them back so bad, and being terrified by the thought of never having them around again. But eventually you get over it and back to life you go.
