@TuTu99o Its just a theory amongst some people that Jake H.o.y.t. (HOT ON YOUR TAIL) was an internal affairs or federal agent sent to take Alonzo down by acting as a daisy fresh rookie, which would be the only way to trick him. There is a deleted scene on some of the early versions of the DVD that shows at the end of the movie, Jake goes home and all the cops that Alonzo met at the restaurant are waiting for him. Think about it... How is Hoyt so good at bussing heads as a ROOKIE?
