Portions of testimony before the NH House Judiciary Committee, 1/20/2010, on HB1590, a bill to repeal marriage equality laws, and CACR28, a constitutional amendment to override marriage equality laws.
First witness is Rep. David Bates of Windham.
Second witness is Rep. Al Baldasaro of Londonderry.

David Bates how are you saving the tax payers money by forcing the legislature to re-vote on marriage equality - a law that the *citizens* of NH overwhelmingly approve. Discriminating against minorities that you have a personal distaste for is not family friendly or New Hampshire friendly. Please resign from NH Congress and run for election in Iran if you want to be popular for the persecution homosexuals. Just quit picking on the citizens of New Hampshire.

Lucky that the supporters of HB1590 and CACR28 have to rely on people like this to represent them... Or else the GLBT community might have something to actually worry about.

Heterosexuality is not mormal to me but it sure is thrust down my throat every single day of my life with tv shows and ads, billboards, magazines, radio, work, immediate family...you name it. I pay more taxes just so the heteros can have all of the benefits? That's BS. Tell me again who has "special rights."
