This video is fake, according to our school newspapers. They set this up in order for it to have a bigger impact upon teens that drink and drive. I think it does an effective job.

Looking at that video was it not clear to see tha the kid driving had a GREEN LIGHT!!!!

This video was not a remake of Lanes accident. It is a fictional account of what happened to four kids, having nothing to do with Lanes story.

The footage was a recreation of a fictional accident. It had nothing to do with Lanes actual accident.

@AriesandRae they showed this in drivers ed the other day. i actually thought this footage might have been real, but I looked it up the other day and realized it wasnt. it was an effective job! the girl's acting was truly tremendous

@Wanderplight -lol I know. That makes this whole video an epic fail. The proper message will never get across since the green light totally messed up the entire video. Makes it seem like a totally different message altogether!

This video is real, no matter how much people want it not to be. People need to realize that this can happen to anyone. Is it freaky that the camera happened to catch everything? Yes. But it's REAL.

That was real, Lane just wanted his message of drinking and driving with it to help avoid people doing it.

I personally was effected greatly by this video. It just scares me. and well i had a first hand experience with an accident like this. even though no one died. it just shows how careless people can be.
