The Swing Phase Lock, mounted on the lateral side, is shipped as a set with a the Swing Phase Control Joint which is mounted medially. The Control Joint uses friction to regulate knee flexion when the orthosis is unlocked during swing phase. The design has three modes of operation controlled by a proximal remote push-button switch:
1) Automatic Mode for walking
2) Manual Unlock Mode for sitting
3) Manual Lock Mode for standing

• Most popular stance control orthotic joint
• Two additional locking positions at 15º, 32º
• Improved for patients with short stride length
• Same positional pendulum locking design
• Only stance control joint that can be used in a KO
• Easy fabrication and maintenance
• Can be used with unilateral or bilateral uprights
