  • Man brother, I am so sorry to hear that you are in so much pain and no you do not sound like a drama queen. I sure hope you heal quickly and feel better soon, you deserve it.

  • @sircaleb1965 thanks for the good wishes, sir. i think i may be turning the corner today. too soon to call but i'm hoping for a much better tomorrow!

  • Man Gabe. Seems like you are really suffering. Sending you hope for recovery. You don't sound like a drama queen.

  • @Dylaganally thank you for your hope sent my way. i gobbled it up and it feels nice! i think i am finally starting to turn the corner today. too soon to call yet.

  • It is normal to hurt after spinal stimulator insertion surgery. It is major surgery inserting the leads. Give yourself a couple of weeks and you should see improvement. If you have any loss of feeling / bathroom issues, go straight to the ER as this needs to be taken care of right away. Good luck -- I understand what you are going thru. Been there.

  • @123dietdrpepper so far no loss of feeling or bathroom issues so i'm loving that. today i *may* have turned the corner and be experiencing a little less pain. i'm going to go from taking morphine every 4 hrs to every 6 hrs. i just sleep all the time. how long was it until the really acute surgical pain went away for you or do you even remember? i really hope this will be worth it!

  • dude, I just got the trial installed on my spine today, and it hurts like hell in my back, the vibrations dont help my pain, honestly i felt better without this thing on. i am not gonna go through with the neurosurgery, I had a lower lumbar laminectomy last year, and the post op pain was horrendus,so i think that i will be in more pain after this, so im not going through with it.

  • I'm sorry you have so much pain and feel so bad. I really do hope you feel better soon. Best wishes. And as the others said you don't sound like a drama queen at all to me it's normal that you need to talk about it. I hope you get well soon!
