Actually it all depends on personal taste. I like the song and many others do so. As far as I know, CWG, WC - these all stuffs are not for charity. If so, then players should also do it for free while representing their country in WC or CWG. But that is not the case I guess. They play and earn money, AR Rahman records songs and earns money, we do something else and earn money! By the way, can you improve your language a bit? Before you no one really accused him to be lazy!

he is fuking lazy singer if can manage to win oscar awards then why he can't able to make a good thrilling song for cwgames when he was singing in the stadium i was sleeping one more thing he get paid for it he don't have any fellings for his country others singers did it for free like the cricket cup if those singers get paid to make a song for cricket cup then they would get money than i shouldn't be more than him. his song is not even 3/10 as comparison to cricket world cup theme song >:(

@kvrmurthy ur brain must really be lazy to just look at one side of the story. u must simply have wondered why he charged 5.5 crores. have u actually tried to find an answer to that question. last year, rahman had a bloody hectic schedule and he was travelling like crazy for his Jai Ho world tour and then for his hollywood projects. he absolutely did not have time for this last minute thing. and time means money.

How much you think they paid those carpet and hygiene departments at CWG for arranging things in the 11th hour when these so called authorities dragged the finish date to so close!
