@northsiderollers I went back and look at the filter again. Using two screw drivers, I was able to pry it back together. It was NOT easy to do!
I may upgrade the exhaust to the magnaflow system, but I doubt I'll do anything else to the intake short of a turbo. (and that's not likely anytime soon)

@hp11208 I can show you how to access, but my dad's is fairly new. It ended up being bubbles in the system. Just let me know and I will upload on for you. Thanks, Bronze Productions

Did you have any issues closing the engine filter box after installing the K&N? I tried to do mine today and I struggled with it for nearly an hour. I could not get the box to close.

@elemino the 1st time no. i opened it again and than i had issues closing it. i upgraded to the KKM True-Rev induction kit. way better. $105 shipped to your door. and i will upload the video of the heat shield this week.

@xboxlivelover17 a skooch and a skooch. not dramatic results. maybe 2 HP and .1 or .2 Mpg. i upgraded to a way better intake if you haven't seen the video. KKM true Rev induction kit. AMAZING! not THAT i notice ;)

is the thermostat easy access to replace on this.

@hp11208 im not too sure on that. I didnt replace it myself. but in summer 2010 this car had a bad overheating problem. everything went out. Hoses, Water pump. radiator. oh man. but it should be a few bucks more than an avrage car. i would look online im sure there is forums on how to do it. and mechanics can quote you on how much it would cost.
