@sarahlewisx That's hypocrisy, my friend. You too have committed some mistakes in the past, for sure - as I did/ do.
The Pope did everything to stop pedophiles within the Church. The problem was that some local bishops tried to cover the mess, and who got blamed was the Pope. Have you read the interviews to the abbused people after they met the Pope? If not, there's some work for you to do.
