Selena's POV

I loved him. Like, a lot. Like, more than Zac, Cody, Dylan, Cole, etc. I was 13 but I knew it was real. I thought it was real. Then he dumped me, after all the sweet things he whispered to me, after all the I Love Yous, he left.

No crumbs on the floor. Just, gone... The next day I saw him at a ice cream booth with a new girl, laughing and talking. Like it was me and him.

That's when I learned what a player is: It's a game, no taksies backsies, no short cuts, no sorrys. No turning back.

My house was corrupted since I was 10, parents fighting, bunchs of cousins and siblings flirting, I didn't think I'd ever be like them... But life is a game...

And you gotta play it.

My name is Selena Gomez, and I'm the biggest player to ever live, or at least, I think so. I'll make you love me, hate me, and miss me. I'm always changing... Not for you. But for me.

-Present day-

Selena: *Walks into the hall*

*Heads turn*

Selena: *Takes off her sunglasses and looks around as she walks* *Nodds to Miley* Miley.

Miley: *Leans against the locker, annoyed* Gomez.

Selena: Oooh, surnames I see. *Keeps walking towards her locker where Justin waits*

Justin: Hey, Selena!

Selena: *Looks at Justin and fake smiles* Oh hey, Justiiiiin... *Opens her locker and grabs her book*

Justin: *From behind the locker* So, I was thinking, this Saturday we could go out for dinner? I made reservations at Olive Garden and-

Selena: *Annoyed* Justin... *Shuts her locker* I have something to tell you.

Justin: *Looks at her eagerly* Yes?

Selena: I don't think this is working out, you and me.

Justin: *His eyes show hurt* What?

Selena: Yeah, sorry.

Justin: *Bites his lip* Can I at least get a hug?

Selena: *Walks away*

Justin: Dammit. *Walks away*

Joe: *Waits at the end of the hall* Hey, Selena. Nice one.

Selena: I do say so myself. *Gets onto her toes and wraps her arms around Joe's neck and slowly kisses him*

Joe: *Returns to soft, but passionate, kiss*

Supervisor: *Walks into the hall* No kissing, you two.

Selena: *Stubbornly pulls away* Awww.

Supervisor: That's the 3rd time I told you that this week, and it's only Tuesday.

Selena: Sorry..?

Supervisor: One hour detention after school, both of you. Skip detention and you can get another until your college resume looks like crap. Make up your mind. *Sticks a paper into their hands*

Joe: Oh, well. *Crumbles the paper and puts it in his pocket*

Selena: *Looking at the paper, college floating around in her head* *Looks up at him* Are you gonna go?

Joe: No? *Wraps his arms around Selena's waist* And you're not either. *Leans into her neck, breathing on it*

Selena: *Smiles a little but stares at the paper* I am, actually.

Joe: *Softly chuckles, making Selena's neck tickle* Why?

*Bell rings*

Selena: *Pushes him off her* Talk to you later, babe.

Joe: I'll be waiting outside of school for you today.

Selena: *Walks away, tucking the paper into her pocket*
