Background:
"Hey, I'm a TSA Member" was the 2010 Film entry of the Abingdon High School TSA Chapter; the video is entirely a a student produced project. Inspired by Apple Inc.'s "I'm a Mac" ads, "Hey, I'm a TSA Member" is an introductory video to the Technology Student Association.
This video was the Virginia state champion at Technosphere 2010 - the Annual State Leadership Conference of the Virginia TSA. The video did not finalize at the National TSA Conference, but was chosen to be shared on the National TSA website as an example of the Digital Video Production competition (November 2010: http://www.tsaweb.org/High-School-Competitions ).
2010 AHSTSA Film Team member Jason Dreyzehner also produced the National TSA Type Promo Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYQTqmMU1Kw
Oh my god... was this in a competition? Like, was it entered? At what level?

@livvyandlove it was- it placed first at the Virginia TSA state competition, but didn't place at nationals. (Our binder was missing from the pickup area, so we were initially concerned it hadn't been judged, but it seems to have made its way to the national website... :D)

@jasondrey13 Same thing happened to my teams' Electronic Game Design binder. Either another team took your binder on accident, the judges left if behind, or they kept it as an example. Once you submit the binder, it becomes property of TSA.

@swiggey2 ya, I'm sure they kept it, because the video ended up on the website. :D

What did you use to make this video?
shainonn 11 months ago
@shainonn Adobe After Effects CS4 mostly. A little Photoshop, a little Illustrator and pretty much a little of everything else when you consider the music, the logo, the typography, the color keying, etc.
