The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter SORREL served her country in World War II, Korea and Vietnam having served a total of 53 years when she was decommissioned in 1996. Today she serves private owners as an island freighter called the motor vessel FEARLESS. She makes a brief appearance at 39 seconds into this 2011 Starbucks' espresso commercial.

I served aboard the Sorrel in Seward, Alaska from 1969 to 1971. She was a very good ship with an awesome crew. It is great to see the USCGC Sorrel WLB296 used in a tasteful commercial video.
