  • By your "logic" Harry Potter may just be an account of real events, or perhaps Lord of the Rings is actually a reality. Evidence is not necessary if you have faith right? Why not the Koran and Allah? or Scientology's "Dianetics." Surely you are lacking sufficient faith in the veracity of L. Ron Hubbard's words as a messenger of Lord Xenu! You simply lack the faith! The spirit of Xenu will testify of its truthfulness if you only have faith! Extraordinary Claims REQUIRE Extraordinary Evidence.

  • @Yunginspirit

".....do not have to be officially endorsed by the First Presidency....."

    Then why won't they?

What a bunch of baloney. Your own "prophets" won't endorse any of it.

You know full well that if there were one genuine shred of evidence they would toot their horn long and loud and not be afraid to sign off on it.

They really stepped in it when they fell for Mark Hoffmann's forgeries.

They're not about to get burned again.

  • @ExmormonFoundation: LOL! And having Faith in God is exactly that!..."Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN." No skeptic or person totally lacking in faith will have the Truth made known unto them. You should know that, considering that you were once LDS. I realize that some LDS have not had the Spirit actually witness to them whether the BoM is true (as It has to me) but somehow, they still believe because they have that inner 6th sense and believe it..

  • *Silk in pre-Columbian Western Hemisphere

*Linguistic evidence of Hebrew or Reformed Egyptian or even Egyptian in the Western Hemisphere

*Horse or elephant fossil during BoM times

*Evidence of Nephite/Lamanite civilizations numbering in the millions

*Egyptologists on the veracity of the Book of Abraham translation

*Evidence for the global Noachian flood, tower of Babel

Perhaps all scientists & the scientific community are in a conspiracy to persecute the “Only True Church.”

  • If your claims are real, please provide scientifically sourced documentation for:

    *Lamanites, even just one Lamanite

*Semitic DNA in pre-Columbian Western Hemisphere

*If the BoM happened in Mesoamerica, why the inspired Indian Placement program in North America?

*Nephite artifact in Western Hemisphere or any Hemisphere

    *Any Book of Mormon city

*Pollen grains of wheat, flax, figs in Western Hemisphere during BofM times

*Slag heaps of pre-Columbian steel making

  • @Yunginspirit

Yes, that's it. The overwhelming "scientific" evidences for the the BoM have simply overwhelmed me. I'm going back to Mormonism. I would ask if you are for real, but unfortunately you are, a real, deluded, brainwashed believer of utter nonsense. If Mormonism was what it claimed to be, the evidence would be everywhere, and even the "evil" Atheist would recognize such. Unfortunately for you it does not take special Mormon warm fuzzies to recognize evidence. Let me help you out:

  • @Exmo: I see...you don't want to 'fight with me?" I thought we were just having a friendly discussion. Perhaps you have already perused the link of 'evidences' of the BoM I have on my channel...and have no comeback? Lots of scientific evidences there. Most Scientists will not accept BoM claims because they lack the faith & spiritual insight of Christians. Approx' 2/3 of US Scientists are Atheists, but interestingly, the state with the most scientists per capita is...Utah! Home of the Mormons.

  • @exmoagogo: Physical evidences that line up with stories in the BoM such as archaeological artifacts, do not have to be officially endorsed by the First Presidency of the Church. The objects are visual and tangible evidence in and of themselves. Everyone is encouraged to do their own research, studying, praying and pondering to get to the truth. It's the 'spiritual' confirmation of Truth that really matters in the end.

  • @Yunginspirit

None of those "evidences" are officially endorsed by the First Presidency.

All articles by Church apologists are hedged by a disclaimer that the information contained in the article is the opinion of the author and not an official position of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Now there's real courage for you!

  • @exmoagogo

    Let's here them.
