  • I am happy to see there are those who are attempting to enhance this classic 70's Sci-Fi series along the same lines that was done with Star Wars and Star Trek. I hope it is successful.

  • This show is one of my first loves in sci fi Television, so much so I attented The Breakaway Con in 1999. Although the show is slated for a major network re-imagining by the same name, I believe the ehanced version should go forward as well.

  • ok, so when/where can we see these redone episodes ??

  • Looking good - can't wait to see a finished episode.

  • The editing would be great as the original version was far advance than most sci-fi TV shows back then. But if a remake was to be made or a sequal, I would suggest changing the name to Moon Base Alpha as we will never know when such a moon base will ever be constructed. Space: 1999 is my favorite, but I loved the second series even better, along with the new sound effects, new command center and Maya!

  • That was unbelievably awesome!

  • Excellent

  • Lets see some nudity re-edited into it.

  • Love it. It would be awesome if they could do a new show too, respectful of the original concepts that have been lost. In nowadays series the eerie mystery of outer space and strange civilizations is lost into boring clichés that dwell into familiarity. And call me vintage guy, but I love strange music to accompany and enhance suspense, horror, action etc. . Well, one can always dream

  • I remember watching this as a kid. The designs were impressive for the time.

I'm 43 now and I still have the Mattel Eagle toy to this day.

    They need to complete this!
