  • I love these beautiful pictures, I would rather be in Colorado also! As John said, it isn't that he doesn't like the cities...but he finds more peace out in the mountains, in Colorado...away from all the cayos etc. in the cities. That can be understood, after watching this beautiful video! The songs and pictures match greatly! Thank-you for this beautiful memory of John Denver, and the eye opener of what we need to preserve for ourselves our children, grandchildren, forever. (As John said it).

  • When the idea of a John Denver Sanctuary was pitched to the Aspen City Council - not only did they love the idea - they donated the land - made it a state park (so they would also do the maintenance). And to show how much they loved the idea – they donated the first $1000 towards the John Denver Sanctuary!!!!! Every penny was donated - not $1 of public funds were used to build the John Denver Sanctuary!!!!! As John would have wanted it to be!!!

  • @jadent33 It is a mix from The WIldlife Concert - his last live (double) album in 1995!!

  • Thanks so much. I was in Colorado years ago and still remember the great trip I had.

  • Was going to visit there yesterday but my son got sick on the road going there. It was my birthday. Oh, well better luck next year.... Someday I'll make there to pay homage to my idol John Denver...RIP

  • VERY lovely!! Thanks for posting this great video. What finer tribute for JD than this sanctuary with JD's songs on stone- as well as JD's remains being cremated along with his grandma's guitar in the Rockies!! JD would be smiling I am sure.

  • I loved watching this.Thank you for sharing this with us
