  • Cover songs are so hard to do and making them your own without losing the spirit of the song. However, am I the only one who thinks VH made some awesome cover songs?

  • Awesome cover, one of the best songs output by VH

  • I was there. Glen Helen. Memorial Day weekend, 83. Saturday night? Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Judas Priest, Ozzy, Triumph? Great show. David Lee Roth got VH banned from San Bernardino County for life because of this show. Too much Jack. Way too much Jack.

  • were's ths frm? dave t.v.?

  • @Tonezone i agree i think they did some great covers

  • Dave is so annihilated up there

  • Ed was at his best here. Saw the last 2 tours & it was so disapointing to see how sloppy his playing has become.

  • They skipped the whole second verse/chorus

  • @Tonezone no, their covers are generally superior to the originals IMO

  • So leise. =(

  • Those are some high ass melodies to sing.I know Mike is known for great harmonies but c'mon the other half is Ed keeping the low harmony there while Mile does the high ones. How come no one ever gives Ed props on these though? Theyre all over the early albums. Anyways this is the first first time I've heard this live, sounds raw but quite good. Live Van Halen, ain't nothing better out there...:)

  • he's tapping using a delay, I figured it out by accident , after the intro he is using arpeggios (broken chords) God bless him and you tube 'cos I couldnt believe that was how it was done; in the studio he usd a keyboard for the intro with RPS (repeat pattern sets)
