  • HOLY ACCENT! Please record a video saying 'me dads a striker for arsenal and I like to eat crumpets whilst drinking tea'

  • lol

TBF It'd be more "Ma da's in prison an' ah 'av a scotch pie wi ma Bru"

    ;)

  • Fantastic lesson, I've been meaning to learn this riff for YEARS now but your lesson made it totally easy and fun to do. The tabs are also very helpful, and I appreciate the extra effort. I have a question to ask too... is the Legacy combo closed or open back?

  • Thanks! The Legacy Combo comes closed back as standard, but that can be removed and currently I'm playing with it open back to reduce the bass thump a little.

  • Is that quilted or a flame maple?

  • Flame.

  • @Leesherwood nah..he used a les les paul

  • I believe Eddie recorded this song using an Ibanez Destroyer. In the beginning of the song when this guy is playing on the other side of the nut, Eddie's actually playing it on the other end of the guitar, on the bridge side, but the guitar in this video doesn't have the correct style bridge for that effect to sound similar.

  • Thankyou very much, what a time saver to have someone show us how to do it right....

  • nice...very helpful, thank you sir

  • Ive just been reading that EVH used to slightly detune his B string flat for this song to get past the limitations of standard intonation so that the chords are in tune higher up the neck. see metroamp com thread for details. wouldnt let me insert the link

  • @mattgsperm Thats pretty far from an Ibanez GIO

  • ~_~

  • @mattgsperm As it says in Vid Info, Suhr Pro Series S3.
