I got the game at launch and it was horrible back then, I rejoined a week ago after being bored to fek by WOW, annoyed by WAR and not interested in the lies that are AoC.
The game is now fantastic, it's huge and really encourages explorers to just roam around and do stuff. There's no immediate ruge to get to max level (and not have fun in the mean time). Crafting is done great, diplomacy is a VERY nice touch.
To me it feels like DAoC of old but without the RVR. I love it.

So this game is fixed and worth playing now ? I cant stand WOW and WaR is a fail at the end , only so much retaking of the same castle daily i can take.

well no game is really bug free but vg is extremely playable and enjoyable now, with a lot more content than it used to have, now comes complete with fishing :) which is good, lots more to come there will be new crafting things soon as well, but ya its a good game now not so much disjointed things, and there is trial island as well a lot of fun :), but then im biased im a vg lover ;)

Emotes for VG....... you can find them by typing /help on the in manual but hayho not easy to remember them all :)
/cheer /celebrate /laugh /slap /giggle
/chuckle /offering /flower /dance
/dance1 this goes to 4 so u can do one
/beckon hell this ones my fave ha
/cry /throat /tease /tongue/study
lots more just play arround, most come off the crafting ;)

I just goata know whats the emote for that hand spinning thing he does be he goes into the bank? ive been trying to find it out for 3 weeks now!
