  • will this work with bamboo and where can i find river cane?

  • @ybotn - River cane is a type of bamboo that is native to the southern states. I know that Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana have it and the states to the east of them along the gulf coast. I'm not sure if California has river cane or not.

  • sand the top of the ribs?

  • @Pyromaniac1801 - It wouldn't hurt. Once the ribs are covered with the rawhide it doesn't matter. The sharp edge also helps hold the rawhide in place till it dries.
