why should reid be penalized did he pull the gun out no his son did.did he sell the drugs no his sons did.did he smuggle drugs into his holding cell no his son did.did he drink and drive and smash an old lady no his son did. did vick shoot a dog yes,did vick hang dogs yes,did vick finance a criminal acts yes.i fail to see what reid is guilty of besides being a bad parent.but i know why vick is guilty cause he is just a asshole.

Of course legally he did nothing wrong. Let me say it again I FEEL FOR MR. REID!!! We have a new commish with a new "Personal Conduct" policy. Corell Buckhalter said on ESPN that if it was a players house that these things were found in, the player would be in Goodells office no matter whose drugs and guns. When Goodell suspended Wade Wilson, he said coaches get punished more because they are held to a higher standard. No Vick comparasons whatsoever!

Josh, I'm not talking about my personal views. Personally I feel for the guy....totally. I'm talking about from the position of Roger Goodell. The Eagle players even said that if drugs and guns were found in a players house, the player would be suspended reguardless of who it belonged to. Goodell said that coaches should be held to a higher standard. What gives?

Here's the reason that you are 100% WRONG. It is so obvious that I cannot believe that I have to point it out. I'll use your example of Vick vs. Reid. Try to pay attention now... Michael Vick is a convicted felon. Andy Reid has never been charged with ANY crime related to his sons. Is that simple enough for you to understand? The only reason for the NFL to get involved is because the employee was arrested and convicted. Pay attention to the facts, they are so simple!

Interesting point Fiacolet...I just think Reid didn't get suspended because it was his sons actions, while Vick knew exactly what was going on including his own participation & funding. But, it does suggest a double standard, I think it was because of the circumstances.
