Dylan Maulucci of Where To Go NY heads to one of the most interesting and hidden gems in the Erebus region of New York literary history, the Poe Cottage in the Bronx. Edgar Allan Poe lived in Manhattan and the Bronx from 1844 until the time of his mysterious death in 1849. The cottage which is managed by the Bronx Historical Society offers tours during the weekends where you'll be taken through this 200 year old house where this Great American writer and poet once lived. Poe composed "Annabel Lee," "Eureka," and "The Bells" at the cottage. Check out the new movie www.poethelastdaysoftheraven.com !
