Pinot Noir or a Merlot works fine too for this lamb dish.

I'm a fan of the rabbit bottle opener myself. It is pricy but it works very well and so far no tool is easier to extract the cork from the tool, aside from the co2 tool.

If you have a debilitating wrist injury, go for something stronger than wine.....like a good bourbon perhaps.....with a screw off cap of course.

I still prefer using the good ol' fashioned flat-waiter for opening wine. It just makes it seem a little more special. But to each their own.
