Follow-up to "Why I think Dark Souls should(n't?) come to PC" (response to viewer comments)

Sorry there's no new gameplay in this one. I used up my stock last time.

If you know that I am in favor of a port or against a port, then you know more about my own opinion than I do because I'm still on the fence. I'm still looking at both sides of the issue and withholding my judgement. Or judgment you know, either way is fine.

Some other random stuff- if you are looking for the latest info about Dark Souls PvP, check out EWGF's channel. He's been finding all sorts of interesting details and he's just scratching at the paint now.

I am thankful that you respect those who do not speak english. Me being french canadian, my native language is french, I was made fun of mercilessly when I was younger because of my bad english. I have to agree with epic. Being an absolute souls nerd, I can say that the gameplay is mainly about timing. That being said, a keyboard and mouse would not be the best choice when it comes to a game like this. Of course you CAN play it with the mouse/keyboard, but doing so would make the game more difficult for MOST PEOPLE! Not all. That's my opinion and that's the key word here, OPINION. Skyrim was designed for PC? What? Oh yeah thats why the inventory sucks, talking doesnt work properly with keyboard/mouse and theres an extremely stupid solution for "favourite weapons/spells/abilities" and the graphics are kinda shit (compared to other 2011 released titles)

It's a great point, and honestly if you take a game such as The legend of Zelda, anything that requires fine aim, timed ain and reaction. Etc.

Is not easy when instead of a smooth adjust you jump from point to point, going from a console to a PC does not work well, your losing your 360 turning ability to 4 compass points.

If you think the controls won't work on a keyboard and mouse you're just doing it wrong, Played Monster Hunter with a keyboard and mouse at the same skill, if not INCREDIBLY better when it came to Bow/Bowgun and that's a Dual analog preferred game. Drop the topic, Keyboard and mouse will work JUST FINE. What it was designed for doesn't mean shit. The only thing we will miss out on without an analog ROLEPLAY WALKING, OH NO!

I think dark souls could work great with a keyboard. Vindictus is a lot like dark souls.

@DrDot that's the point ENB is making. RE4 was a port to the pc that was just made bad decision. If I didn't play a console version first. I would have dropped the RE series right there. I would have never seen the awesome of the game, or played it's sequel. Saying that RE was a strong title with alot of general love going for it. All most people know of Dark souls from my experience is it's hard. Give dark souls them and limit their controls and I bet they'll quit before the tutorial's done.
