I remember the Golden Shot from the early daays in my childhood, but my parents couldn't stomach Bob Monkhouse so I dont remember it after about 1969. One of the "Golden Girls" was Anne Aston who was the oppposite of Carol Vorderman! It ran until 1975, then there was a one-off revival with Ant and Dec in 2005. I think with the incease in gun crime and tragedies associated such a show probably wouldn't be tolerated today.
